I did this painting as my gift to Hickory Knob State Park for participation in
the 2015 Artist in Residence Program. I had a wonderful time exploring the park with
my husband for two days, alone for two days and with my sister, Jane, for two
days. Saw a few of these warblers during my visit in early May but all would migrate
through this area. Hickory Knob is on the Savannah River just outside McCormick,

they can stand alone or be hung together
I posted the Spring earlier but have just finished
the Summer and Fall. These trees grow in the mountains
of SC. Known as Mountain Magnolia or Fraser Magnolia.
Hopefully I have captures the atmosphere of the season in
each painting. Don't ask for Winter I'm not painting sticks.
