Lucky

10 1/2 x 18 1/2 Watercolor
I'm calling this Lucky because I think the name fits.  I wish I knew whose dog this is. I found the picture on Facebook a year or two ago and loved the expression.  I started this in Bev Jozwiak's class at Kanuga, it is my first dog painting in watercolor.  I think I will try more.SOLD

Bev Jozwiak's Workshop

Kanuga watermedia workshop Apr. 2-8, 2016. Great instructor! Two paintings I did in workshop. A really good learning experience.

Tip's Frame

This is an oil painting I did this past winter (10x20 Poppies). I'm not sure it is good enough for the frame my friend Tip Hargrove made from reclaimed wood which is beautiful.

Warblers

16x20 Watercolor Batik done in 4x4 sections on various depth canvases
I did this painting as my gift to Hickory Knob State Park for participation in
the 2015 Artist in Residence Program. I had a wonderful time exploring the park with
my husband for two days, alone for two days and with my sister, Jane, for two
days.  Saw a few of these warblers during my visit in early May but all would migrate
through this area. Hickory Knob is on the Savannah River just outside McCormick,
SC.

Anticipation

A watercolor painting I began working on at Kanuga Watermedia Workshop
this past spring. I worked from a photo my nephew took of his daughter,
Allison, as she was waiting for her bus on her first day of preschool.
